Auto Loans

If you are looking to buy a new or used car, PEOPLE'S FCU may be able to help.  In less than a week, you may qualify for our auto loan financing at an amount that will allow you to buy the car you really can afford.

• Maximum Amount Loaned: $40,000
• Maximum Age of Automobile: 10 Years (the loan would have to be repaid by the end of the 10 years)
• Maximum Terms: From 12 – 72 months, depending on age of the auto

Auto Refinancing

If you financed your car with another lender and you are unhappy with your loan terms, then consider refinancing with us.

Eligibility Criteria:

• You must meet our loan eligibility criteria to qualify for loan
• Car must be less than 10 years old
• We lend based on the NADA guide retail value

Fresh Start Loans

This secured loan allows you to build a positive credit history for yourself and improve your credit rating over time.  Get approved for this loan and PEOPLE'S FCU will hold the loan funds until after the loan has been repaid in full.  After you pay off the loan, PEOPLE'S FCU will release the full amount of the loan plus all dividends to you, the borrower.  Your loan payment activity will be reported to the credit bureaus over the course of the loan, giving you the chance to build a positive credit history.  

Our Fresh Start Loan is designed to help you build credit and save money. You cannot access you Fresh Start funds until you have completed the payment schedule. 

Choose a regular savings account or 12 or 24 month term certificate account to hold and secure this loan.  Members who successfully repay the Fresh Start loan are often able to borrow more money at a lower interest rate than previously possible.

• Loan Amount:            $500 minimum; $3,000 maximum
• Maximum Term:     24 months
• Rates:                   4% above interest rate of account where loan is held

Secured Loans

A secured loan allows you to borrow against the funds you have on deposit at PEOPLE'S FCU.

• Loan Amount:     $500 minimum; $3,000 maximum
• Maximum Term:     60 months

Personal Loans

Use your strong credit history to qualify for this loan, backed by your signature. Pay principal and interest together to repay the loan.  The maximum loan amount will vary depending upon eligibility.  This popular loan product can be used for vacation, car repairs, back to school expenses, or whatever you decide.  Loan approval is required.

• Amount: $500 to $5,000 (joint applicant up to $7,500)
• Maximum Term: 36 months
