People’s Community Partnership Federal Credit Union gives you the opportunity to invest in the Oakland community by investing in People’s. With a Community Development Certificate we welcome you to support us by opening a special below-market-rate account. This helps then to give People’s the opportunity to provide our services to the underserved community. These accounts are open to members and non-member depositors such as banks, other credit unions, foundations, and corporations. Rates and terms are negotiable.

PCPFCU is certified by the State of California as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). An individual or corporation making a $50,000 deposit in a five-year Certificate of Deposit at 0% interest is entitled to a state tax credit of 20% of the deposited amount in the year in which the deposit is made.
